Muneeb Shafi

Muneeb Shafi represents the emerging generation of young Kashmiri writers using literature as a medium to express emotions, experiences and contemporary social realities.
He began his writing journey in 2020 and gradually developed his own literary identity, writing about themes that connect closely with young people and everyday society. His work explores emotions, relationships, adolescence, personal experiences and the challenges faced by today's generation.
One of his notable literary works is Journey from 10 to Nineteen, a book that explores the experiences, emotions and complexities associated with adolescence and growing up. The work reflects his interest in documenting the journey of young people and giving expression to thoughts and feelings that often remain unspoken.
Alongside his book, Muneeb has written numerous articles and literary pieces that have appeared in newspapers and online publications, including Headlines Today. His writing journey has also received recognition as he emerged as a Young Author of Kashmir and was honoured for his literary contribution and debut publication.
His achievements include recognition associated with LG Manoj Sinha, while Notion Press has also provided certification connected with his book publication.
Beyond writing, Muneeb has developed a parallel identity as a calligrapher and creative artist, combining words with visual expression. This combination of literature and calligraphy reflects his broader passion for creativity and artistic communication.
