In a moment of immense pride for Jammu & Kashmir, Maryam Tariq, a Class 12 science student from Kanispora, Baramulla, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by becoming the sole selection from the region for Mission ShakthiSAT India.
Coming from a humble family background, Maryam is the daughter of a daily wage worker in the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department. Despite the challenges associated with her circumstances, she has continued to pursue her dreams with determination, curiosity, and an unwavering passion for science.
Selected from participants representing 108 countries, Maryam's achievement reflects her dedication to learning and her growing interest in space science and technology. Through Mission ShakthiSAT India, she will gain exposure to advanced space-related training, including satellite systems, propulsion, and space technology.
