Sajad Ahmad Dar

KMR Youth Records proudly honors Sajad Ahmad Dar as an official Kashmir Youth Records Holder, recognizing his pioneering role in rowing, outstanding sporting achievements, and remarkable service to society.
Sajad created history by becoming the first certified Rowing Coach from Jammu & Kashmir and further strengthened his credentials by earning the prestigious NS-NIS Rowing Coach qualification twice from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports. He currently serves as a Coach and Mentor under the Khelo India initiative, where he plays a vital role in identifying, training, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
His sporting journey spans more than eight years across 15+ sports, including rowing, martial arts, racket sports, athletics, and water sports. Among his major competitive achievements is a Gold Medal at the Open Kashmir Wushu Championship, along with an impressive collection of 10+ State Championship medals and 20+ District Championship medals across multiple disciplines.
Beyond competition, Sajad is an innovator who has developed sports training equipment, including ergometer modifications to improve athlete performance. His passion extends beyond the playing field through social service as the Founder of Baseji Mehdi Youth Forum (NGO) and Relief Secretary of Mohammadia Blood Donation Bank (NGO). He is also an active member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, promoting discipline, youth leadership, and a drug-free society.
A gifted painter, calligrapher, and sketch artist, Sajad reflects excellence in both sports and creativity. His inspiring journey demonstrates that true leadership is achieved through dedication, innovation, service, and the commitment to uplifting others.
